Vogue | Beauty in sight: the future of aesthetic treatments seeks a more natural and healthy appearance

Technologically advanced and innovative alternatives that promote not only aesthetics but also skin health were unveiled at Ilikia's Iris event.

The cosmetic market is constantly changing, in line with changes in society's habits and desires. After years of being dominated by invasive aesthetic procedures in search of artificial perfection, the current trend is towards valuing natural beauty.

Iris, an event held in São Paulo last Friday (17) by Ilikia, exemplified this new era with a meeting of dermatologists and plastic surgeons to discuss the latest advances in skin care, as well as presenting the brand's new products. The company stands out for its portfolio of products that allow the aging process to be managed in a natural and healthy way, proposing a holistic vision of beauty that transcends aesthetics and focuses on the quality of the dermis.

Trend specialist Bruna Ortega, who gave one of the talks, gave an overview of the current beauty market and projected the future of aesthetic medicine. According to her, the desire for a radiant, youthful appearance is intensifying, driven by the search for a longer, healthier life. “People want their face and body to reflect their well-being habits,” she reveals. For this reason, the demand for minimally invasive procedures and natural results will continue to rise, driven by a growing awareness of the importance of health.

In this sense, the new Aptos support thread made of polylactic acid and polycaprolactone - substances absorbed by the body - naturally lifts the face, without the need for recovery as in the past. Plastic surgeon Alieksiei Carrijo (CRM 118384) explains that it can be applied to raise eyebrows, define cheekbones and contour. “They also stimulate collagen production, improving facial thickness for up to two years,” he adds.

In terms of prevention, collagen biostimulators stand out, with the Stiim line, developed with calcium hydroxyapatite. Dermatologist Alessandro Alarcão (CRM 8830) says that the active ingredient strengthens the cell regeneration process and is therefore indicated to intensify the production of this protein, which improves the firmness of the complexion.

These types of treatments reinforce a trend that is already being seen more and more in doctors“ surgeries. The so-called lunch break facial can be performed during the lunch break and offers results in just a few sessions. ”Patients are looking for less pain and the chance to return to their normal activities without suffering afterwards," says the specialist.

The event also presented other innovative products on the market. The Up line of fillers offers the latest hyaluronic acid technology, providing natural, predictable and safe results, while Up Max is ideal for areas that need high volumization and projection, without compromising the naturalness of the results.

Finally, recognized for its high quality, the Pluryal Refresh line of sterile serums contains Salmon DNA, capable of stimulating cell regeneration.

Tomorrow's care seeks the complete harmony of the individual. A radiant face, a balanced body and a serene mind come together with healthy routines and complementary therapies, promoting well-being and vitality.
